AVOSpice API (Application Program Interface) is aimed at using of the simulator engine in various CAD systems of any third-party producers.

Sometimes the necessity of curcuit simulation arises during the library characterisation, electronic device parameters extraction and statistical analysis.

AVOSpice API using allows to avoid excessive translations of simulation results and reduce total simulation time by reducing time of simulator launching. AVOSpice API can also provide special program interface for any user's needs.

Today AVOSpice API provides program interface for getting simulation results, including currents through element pins, voltages at nodes, inner device variables, statement .measure results . This API was developed with the help of «callback» functions that allow to get the results during simulation.

Input data for AVOSpice API (netlist, simulation profile, models) are given as text in HSPICE or SPECTRE formats.
